60 month/60,000 Mile Warranty: When you pay for a repair, you shouldn’t have to pay for it twice. While many shops only stand behind their work for 12–24 months, we go further — way further. Our 60-month/60,000-mile warranty is proof of the trust we have in our parts and our expert technicians. If a covered part we installed fails within that time, bring your vehicle back, hand us the keys, and we’ll take care of it — no cost to you. You’ll be hard-pressed to find a stronger warranty anywhere else.
Our 60-month/60,000-mile warranty applies to most repairs performed at Monticello Auto Service, but certain limitations and exclusions apply:
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover used parts, new or used engines, or new or used transmissions, or differentials. Any warranty on these items will be determined separately and will not include internal coverage from Monticello Auto Service.
Wear & Maintenance Items: Brakes, tires, belts, wiper blades, fluids, filters, and other normal wear-and-tear or maintenance items are covered under a standard 36-month/36,000-mile warranty or for their recommended service interval, whichever comes first.
Electrical Components: All electrical components installed carry a 12-month warranty from the date of installation only, unless otherwise stated in writing. This includes items such as computer modules (ECM, PCM, TCM, BCM), control modules, instrument clusters, and wiring or circuit repairs. Due to the sensitive nature of electronic parts, warranty coverage does not extend beyond 12 months OR 12,000 miles and is not affected by mileage. Electrical components are non-returnable once installed and are not covered for failures caused by voltage issues, water intrusion, aftermarket modifications, battery or jump-start damage, or work performed elsewhere. This policy ensures clear expectations, faster service decisions, and protects against failures caused by conditions outside our control.
Limitations: Warranty coverage is valid only for the original vehicle owner and is not transferable. Coverage applies only to repairs performed by Monticello Auto Service and only at our location.
Voiding of Warranty: This warranty may be voided if there is evidence of abuse, neglect, modification, intentional damage, commercial use, after market lift kits, or custom work affecting the covered repair.
36 month/36,000 Mile Nationwide Warranty: Traveling or moving? No worries — we’ve got your back with our 3-year/36,000-mile Nationwide Warranty. This covers most of the repairs we’ve performed, even when you’re far from home. Just a heads up: new or remanufactured engines and transmissions usually come with their own separate warranties, which can sometimes outlast ours.
