Community Involvement

Food Drive

Monticello Auto Service ran a Food Drive to help support the Bravera STMA Food Pantry and the Monticello Food Shelf.  With the support of the community, we performed 66 Oil Changes and received more food and hygiene donations than we could have imagined!  Thank you so much for your support and we look forward to making this an annual tradition!

Teaching Car Care Basics

At Monticello Auto Service, we believe that empowering our community with automotive knowledge is just as important as keeping their vehicles on the road. On April 17, 2025, we were proud to host the Monticello Royal Ambassador Program at our shop for a hands-on car care workshop.

Our team — Calvin (Manager), Troy (Foreman), Matt (Technician), Logan (Technician), Caitlin (Advisor), and Misa (Advisor) — spent the day teaching the ambassadors essential vehicle maintenance skills. Together, we covered how to safely change a spare tire, check vital fluids like oil, coolant, washer fluid, and transmission fluid, and even inspect and replace air filters and wiper blades.

We also walked through each participant’s vehicle to make sure they had the necessary tools for a tire change. Along the way, we explained which components are safety-related and which are not. It was a fun, educational day focused on building confidence, promoting safety, and helping the next generation feel more prepared behind the wheel.

First-Time Drivers Program

Confidence Before the First Breakdown

Your teen just got their license.
Now make sure they’re not guessing when something goes wrong.

Our First-Time Drivers Program gives new drivers real-world, hands-on training with a certified technician
— using their own vehicle — so they know what to do before they’re stuck on the side of the road.

This is practical. It’s preventative. And it builds confidence fast.

What This Program Does

During a routine oil change, your teen works 1-on-1 with a certified technician to learn essential
car-care skills every driver should know.

No classroom.
No lectures.
Just real skills, on their car.

What Your Teen Will Learn
✔ How to check and change engine oil
✔ How to inspect and replace air filters
✔ How to check tire pressure and inflate tires properly

These are the moments that cause panic when drivers don’t know what to do. We eliminate that.

Monticello Youth Baseball Association

Monticello Auto Service is proud to support the next generation in more ways than one. We proudly sponsor the local Youth Baseball Program, helping offset the cost of uniforms and equipment so that every child has the chance to play without added financial strain.

Ambassador Car Care Program

Each year, we welcome the Monticello Chamber Ambassadors into our shop for a hands-on Car Clinic. During the clinic, our team teaches participants how to safely change a tire and install a spare, replace air filters and wiper blades, and understand the basics of routine vehicle maintenance. We also walk them through key vehicle components—explaining what they do, why they matter, and how they impact safety on the road. The clinic always wraps up with an open Q&A, giving attendees a chance to dive deeper into anything they’re curious about.

Heels & Wheels Program

Starting this winter, we’re launching a brand-new annual Car Care Clinic for Women. This event will focus on empowering women with essential vehicle knowledge, from maintenance basics to safety-related systems. We’ll provide demonstrations, answer questions, and walk through different components—explaining what they are, how they function, and how they contribute to a safer driving experience. It’s all about building confidence, encouraging independence, and helping drivers feel more prepared behind the wheel.

Veterans Day Free Oil Service's

Each year, on a Saturday either before or after Veterans Day, our team volunteers their time to give back to those who served. With the support of local sponsors, Monticello Auto Service provides free oil services to veterans’ vehicles as a way to say thank you. We also treat participating veterans to donuts, coffee, and lunch—creating a warm, welcoming space to connect and honor their service.
